How useful mortgage calculators really are?
There are countless mortgage calculators online. They provide a handy tool to get a rough idea of anything from:
– How much money you need to earn to afford a certain budget
– How much you can currently afford
– Your monthly repayments on a given mortgage deal
– How changes in rates could affect your repayments
Some calculators are on independent websites, and these can only give you a rough idea on rates and affordability, simply because they’re not tied up with any lenders.
However, the calculators on bank websites will be slightly skewed to make their mortgage deals more enticing.
So really, you shouldn’t pin all your hopes on online calculators – apart from one…
The number one difference is that we don’t focus our attention on the person taking out the loan.
You can be self-employed, in part time employment or not working at all. You don’t have to pay off the property over a set 25-year period. It can be for as long or as little as you like. You can pay off as much as you want – or you can even skip payments. You can sell of equity in your home without having to borrow extra or lose ownership of your home.

HiP is the NEW Way
to finance property
Our morgage calculator works for you
If you’re looking to climb on to the property ladder as a first time buyer, we can give you a head start. With HiP you can borrow more than with a normal high street bank, get lower monthly repayments and buy the house you want with help, if needed from fellow investors.
Sell your equity
Accessing your equity can allow you to do a lot of things – purchase another house, invest, renovate or simply free up some much needed cash. If you decide to sell your equity, you won’t have to pay any extra each month. However, the amount you earn each month will go to the investors you have sold your equity to.
Pay more- or less – on your mortgage
On a standard mortgage, if you pay above the normal amount, you will get penalised. However, with HiP, if you have the money you want to pay off your home loan with, then you’re free to do so without any penalties or fees.
Our calculator allows you financial flexibility that has never been seen before in the market. HiP is changing the rules on property ownership for the better.
